This documentary shows the benefits of working with Community Based Distributors to provide contraceptives to people who live in remote areas of Zambia. It shows an example of Peter and Felistus who are farmers in a rural area in Zambia. Every 3 months, Felistus walks for more than 4 hours and crosses two mountains to get family planning services. In these remote areas, Community Based Distributors are the only alternative, but they are not trained to administer long acting reversible contraceptives, leaving population with an unmet need. Watch the film to find out what the government can do to improve access to family planning for people like Peter and Felistus.
